Are there any home security companies that don’t do credit checks or don’t require good credit?
My credit is not so great but that doesn’t mean I should not be able to protect my home either. The economy has a lot of people in debt and I can’t seem to find a security company that understands that so any info would be great.

We went to Home Depot – bought the system and did it ourselves.
We didn’t need monitoring – just the alarm system.
Not that hard to do – will take all weekend though…
Yes, and a lot of people prepared way before the economy went south by not having credit cards maxxed out and a savings account with several months worth of expenses. YES, EVERYONE CAN do this however why should a creditor understand “that” in light of your haeing screwed over other creditors would you?

Don’t they just charge you a larger deposit if you have less than stellar credit?
Get a large dog instead.
