Hit 10 days ago, Now stovetop won’t light (gas cooktop w/electric ignition). My swimming pool heater will not heat up. It turns on but it will not heat the water. My alarm system is burnt up. I could smell wires burnt in home and alarm company called right after it happened. Everything else in home is fine. I did have to reset gfi plugs and unplug printer and then plug it back up. But everything else works.. Why gas related appliances and how do you fix it? Can I do it myself?
Oh yea…what are the chances my house could get hit again?

I just recently got a knock on my door from a man claimed to be from an alarm company. I found his visit to have been odd because it was 6PM, dark, cold, and raining outside. He said he was going around the neighborhood to offer people alarm services. And went on asking me if I had an alarm system.
