Reverse phone detective – Trace a number!
Want to find a way to see who has been phoning you? In this next article I will give you explain how to use a reverse telephone lookup service and give my recommendation on the best one to use.
Now that al lot of people use cell phones, a lot of people receive more calls from mobile phones than they do from home phones. This makes life easier for some and poses troubles for others. It makes it harder to find out who has called. Telecommunications providers do not reveal their customers readily which gives them a sense of privacy, knowing it is somewhat troublesome to trace who called.
I can say that there are many companies today which give information from their phone directories but do you know that this is time consuming and somehow, you will not find something you really looking for. I can also say that this will cost you much money from doing reverse phone lookup manually.
But thanks to reverse phone detective website, it is now possible and accurate to find any phone number and investigate any works and person. With the use of reverse phone detective, you can now easily trace down any unknown mobile phone number without hassle and really cheaper. Just enter a phone number into a reverse cell phone search engine and you will easily find a persons name, address, and other information from public records securely.

Serious answers only, please. Home alarm system problem……..?
We have a home security system that was installed 13yrs ago.
The company is out of business. The alarm system is hooked up throught the phone line for monitoring that is not in service.
We have cable, along with the digital phone which is ran through the cable.
Whenever cable goes out, the alarm sounds.
Is there a way to disconect the phone line from the alarm system?
There is a locked box in one of the closets and I cannot get into it unless I break it, which then I don’t know what will happen and not too sure what wire to cut.
Cable company and phone co. have no answers. Alarm companies tell me it’s not their system, so I am out of luck there.
Any electrical techs out there to help me?
There is no bypass on the keypad for this function.
I tried that already. It has to be disconnected throught the line somewhere.
How do I know if my alarm system is connected to a phone line?
I can’t get my alarm system monitored without knowing if it is set up to a phone line. How do I do that?

Digital Phone, Cable and our home security system going off when cable goes out? Need a fix for that.?
We recently had digital phone hooked up. We had cable for the computer and tv for years. I heard great things about digital phone, which, eh, it’s ok. Clarity is not so great, even with a 5.8MH phone which is brand new.
That’s not my problem though.
We have a security system for our home, and that was installed 12yrs ago and is hooked up to the telephone line.
Apparently when cable goes out for just a second, our alarm sounds. It happened last night at 2am.
One box (alarm system) is located in my son’s closet which is locked and I do not have a key. I would assume that is where the hook up is for the telephone cable.
Second box is in my other son’s room, which is the electrical supply.
The company that installed the system is no longer in business.
My question is:
How do I get into the metal 20″ X 15″ box to disconnect the telephone line and which line is it , and how to do this without interupting the normal functions of alarm. It is not monitored.
How to Choose the Right Phone Card
Whenever you’re far from home, an expatriate missing family, or you could be a person on the go with lots of people to call and a business firm to manage. Whatever you do and wherever you may be, you will need a phone card to keep the lines of communication open.
Want to know how to purchase the right prepaid phone card online or over the counter?
The phone card market is a saturated market and it can be overwhelming when trying to select the right card with the many available choices. While most people would typically just choose the card that offers them the lowest rates, you have to realize that some of these cards may be those that come out expensive in the end. Learning to select the phone card that will best meet your needs will save you money in the long run.
1. Determine the rate the card offers to your calling destination ? Confirm rates before you call and remember that some rates may fluctuate. Also, calls made to international cell phones are generally billed at a higher rate.
Do the rates vary depending on the hour of the day? Be sure that the rate you receive remains constant throughout the entire day. Unless otherwise stated, the advertised rate should be constant no matter what time of day.
2. Consider the Minute Billing or Minute Rounding schedule for the card. Rounding (mintue billing) refers to the increments in which phone calls are billed. For example, with 3 minute rounding, a 4 minute phone call would be billed as a 6 minute phone call. With 1 minute rounding, the same 4 minute call would be billed as a 4 minute call.
3. Know in advance if you will be charged for attempting a call that does not connect. Confirm this with the carrier by contacting their customer service department.
4. Look out for any additional fees or taxes. Adding these fees allows carriers and retailers to to keep their advertised rates extra low. You can avoid many types of additional fees and taxes by using all of your minutes in one call. Remember… fees and taxes effectively reduce the number of minutes you’ll receive. Further, not all phone card retailers are created equal. Many will not disclose all fees and taxes, so be sure to ask before you buy. A retailer using best business practices will reveal all known taxes and fees to you up front.
5. Make sure you can reach a customer service operator 24 hours a day. Being able to get ahold of your phone card’s customer service department is important because they will be able to help you with any unforeseen issues that may arise at any time during the day.
6. Consider if the phone card has an expiration date. If yes, any remaining minutes on the card past this date will be lost.
7. Make sure you can trust the company. Most prepaid phone card companies do not offer any guarantee on their products. There are, however, a handful of companies that do. A guarantee will further ensure that you get the minutes you pay for. Also, look for signs of generating trust: Visible phone numbers, privacy policy, BBB membership, secure transactions, warranties and guarantees.
8. Find out how you will receive your prepaid phone card after purchase. Typically, if purchasing over the Internet, your phone card will be presented to you via email or right on screen pending a successful transaction and acceptance by your bank. Some companies may send you a physical card, but in most cases the delivery occurs by email or right on your screen.
The fees and charges are not at all bad, depending on your needs. If you are going to be a frequent phone card user for international calls, then it is suggested that you select a card that has no fees on it for while the rates may be higher, it won’t be necessary for you to pay for connection or maintenance fees. On the other hand, if the card will be for a one or two-time use, go for the phone cards that provide the low rates.
Calls made on the card are charged based on minute rounding. There are some cards that charge on a two, three or four minute rounding. You can save the most with a card that uses one-minute rounding.
Before making any selection, research your options. It is also good if someone you know recommends a particular phone card that provides excellent service.

Can I have my alarm system dial out wireless through my cell phone carrier?
I have a typical (but non-ADT) alarm system that dials out through the phone line. I am happy with my alarm company’s monitoring and pricing–roughly $24/mo–but want to drop my land line phone since I have T-Mobile service cellular service. My alarm company quoted me about $350 in equipment and an ADDITIONAL $10/mo monitoring to go to cellular backup.
I’d like alarm to be able to dial out wireless if needed for phone cost savings as well as the added security. I’m not sure why they charge extra for the monitoring since I’ll be buying it outright. Is there a module that can be bought that can use one’s cell phone service? (I don’t want a VoIP product because if they cut my cable line I’m screwed)
Am I the mistress? Is he married?
well.I was seeing this guy off and on for about a year and half. I met him on my job, I was a asecurity officer, he was a security supervisor a company I know longer work for, and I heard he recently got terminated. we broke up nov 2009, so from nov 2009-sept 2010, I mean he was prank calling my phone, sending people to stalk me, sending mail and stuff to my house,.So my crazy self, took this as “well maybne he misses me”"or maybe he really likes me, but hes shy: so we get back together and I tell him I want to make it up to him, so he lays down rules, this happened in October 2010, he told me that I cannot come to his apartment, I cannot drive in his car, so i would have to go meet him at his job or he would drive to my house, but I would always drive my car. When we would go out, he would always say he has no cash, he would never want to use his debit card for some reason. He tells meHis baby mother lives downstairs, which I thought was a little weird, and the apartment she stays in is in his name, but he assured me that he working on buying a house for him and his son
. I got a little frustrated with him because sometimes when I would call or text him during the day he wouldnt call or text me back until he was at work which was after 5 o clock.and sometimes he would say “oh lets get togehter tommorrow or somthing” and he would just not call or anything until way afterwards and we had sex, he can never spend the night or stay long….so on Halloween I actually Itell him to just never contact me or call me its over, the following week I apologized and he ignores me texts and calls..so a week ago I sent him a facebook message, and he calls me the next day a few times and just holds the phone..so I tried this morning to call him, he ignores me, I sent him one text saying ‘Good morning, just thinking about you” no response, I ve been calling him several times. emailing him, texting him and everything, and I’m getting no response, I told him i loved him, I wished him a Hap[py thanksgiving, (no reponse)and now I’m getting to the point where I’m getting alittle sick and tired of being frustrated by his mixed signals…what should I do?I ‘m sooo sad and hurt, I cant stop crying…he just answered the phone, and said “Oh I’m busy I gotta go ” and hung up in my face…..but its so hard to forget about him because I love him , and I cant stop thinking about him, how do i really move on?
Additional Details
I have been to his place a few times, ummm, BUT the weird thing was that it was when she was at work, or he couldnt stay long, oand he was looking out windows, doors, it was weird, he could only hang out for an hour or two, and then he had to go home to watch his baby mothers other two children while she worked graveyard shift, which I recently found out that he stays exactly upstairs from his baby mother…and he says hes not with her, but he stays upstairs to keep an eye out on his son, and on the apartment phone directory, it has his name on the apartment she lives in,but on the flip side he s going on the internet, saying “he loves me” basically following me on the internet all night, I mean if he was with her, wouldng she see this,…and on his facebook profile there are no pics of them and his status is ‘single”..what gives
and to add. he did and slip and call his baby mother his “girlfriend” and I have asked her if they were together and all she says is ‘ask him” and she got angry and started yelling, “dont ask me ask him, and he had to come down and grab her, this all happened when i popped up,..so thats why he says I’m not allowed over his house after that ‘altercation”
Why don’t installers send a home’s phone lines (and maybe alarm lines) into the house through a metal PIPE?
If phone lines and alarm wires were running into a house through a little metal pipe, then it would be a lot harder for a might-be burglar or other invader to cut those lines while trying to stop their victim(s) from calling the police or trying to stop their victims’ alarm systems from calling that dispatcher. That should be painfully obvious to the people installing the lines. Why don’t they do it that way, then?
It doesn’t matter who owns the wiring. What matters is who installs them, and how they do it. Who pays for the lines has nothing to do with whether or not the phone company could start off by installing the lines via conduit. The same with the alarm company.
And don’t be the guy who says something like, “Maybe if the burglar can’t cut your phone lines, he’ll just kill you instead,” since that wouldn’t make sense, because then I would respond with this:
“Well, what if you’re NOT HOME for the burglar to kill? The alarm could still call the company if the wires were in a conduit that was hard to cut. And even then, sometimes burglars cut phone and/or alarm lines to make it easier for them TO come in and STILL try to kill you. But if they can’t cut the phone line first, then you might still get a 911 call out in time.”
So, now, when you answer, consider the potential pitfalls I just steered you around. Okay?
Will you come back periodically to see if I have any follow-up for your answers, and then RErespond with follow-up to my follow-ups, please? Thanks, if so.
Okay, Hydroace and DT Warwick,
My real name’s Mike.
Actually, I’m surprised that they would just bury the wire without putting it in a pipe, anyway, just because of the tilling, etc. But I think it’s more than 2 inches deep where my parents live ( a lot of tilling got done there).
Isn’t that cable–from the box or pole–thicker than just the line that runs around in your house, and seriously, wouldn’t it be more than 2 inches deep (and if not, why not)?
Yeah, I’m not really talking about pipe all the way from the house to the phone box or pole (although that would be ideal). I just meant one little pipe that goes from a few feet below the surface of the ground (so a thief would have to dig around in the ground to find the bottom where the cable comes out), or from the top of the roof, into the house’s point of entry with an elbow that gets sealed in (at least in the case of the phone line). Why would one little piece of pipe just a few or several feet long (not many yards way out to the street) cost so “too much” for the phone company to decide to afford when they install it–just the one straight pipe a few feet or so long?
Yeah, Hydro, I’m talking about where the cable was buried at the lower depth because it was the original installation.
Why not just take it up a metal pipe from that depth where it meets the house, up to the box, and then lock the box? That little bit of pipe wouldn’t cost much, and it would slow a potential thief or other attacker down considerably, wouldn’t it?
