Answering Service for Home Based Businesses
A home based business is exactly that, a business that is primarily run out of an individuals’ home. Businesses that operate this way either answer their own telephones or let calls go to voicemail when they are unavailable. Many times, it is difficult to run a successful business and manage incoming calls at the same time. Also, if you are not available, letting phone calls go to voicemail can hurt your business by callers not leaving messages. If a home based businesses cannot handle incoming calls, it will lose revenue.
Inbound communication is vital to any business. It can foster strength in your brand as well as generate revenue by beginning new relationships with customers. And, it is vital that callers speak to a live operator. Many times, if your callers reach an answering machine or voicemail, they will not leave a message and may consider your service unreliable. If they don’t leave a message, you are losing business. If they deem your business unreliable in emergency situations, you are losing business. An answering service offers a live voice to answer your calls when you are unavailable. A live voice will capture more leads then a machine.
If you are thinking that an answering machine or voicemail is great because it saves your business money, think again. Imagine yourself calling a business. Do you leave a message when a machine picks up or will you call the next available name. Chances are you will call the next business in the directory. In fact, studies say that callers are 5x more likely to leave a message with a live operator versus a machine. Even imagine yourself in a situation where you are calling a friend. If you get a machine, do you hang up and call back later? How many times do you actually call back? If you are thinking about your answers to these questions, you can see and understand why small businesses benefit from an answering service.
Live operators are great for businesses and many call centers are able to do much more than just take messages. If your business is product oriented, many services can take and process credit card orders. If you need help generating leads, many services offer outbound telemarketing programs. Whatever your business does, an answering service can assist by outsourcing many of your business needs so you can concentrate on growing your company. And, the live operators will make your callers feel more secure about your business and help spread the word of what you do to others.

Best home alarm company? Service, install, and monthly price.?

Can I use my ATT wireless service for my alarm system instead of a landline?
I have Broadview security in my home. I currently use the Optimum phone line for the alarm system. I want to get rid of the landline and am looking for alternatives.
1) I have 2 mobile phones with ATT. Can I get another SIM card and use it with the alarm system.
Can someone recommend devices that I can attach to the security alarm so that I can avoid the extra monthly monitoring charge from Broadview
2) I have voip service with Allvoi. I connected the alarm system directly to the voip adapter but for some reason the alarm testing fails. I get a CP trouble sign.
Is there a device that can enable the alarm system to use the Allvoi voip adapter.
I’m looking for a senior emergency alarm button, that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck.?
I don’t want it ringing to a operating service, I just want it to beep so that I wake up. My father is very ill and tried to make it to the bathroom by himself last night and fell. If he was near the baby monitor I would have heard him yelling, but he was in the hallway and I didn’t hear him. I need something that he can press that will alert me. Is there anything like that?
Unfortunately he can’t blow. He is on oxygen 24/7. He can barely speak sometimes.

Fire Alarm Monitoring Service For Your Protection
You care about your business, your inventory and most of all the people who work for you. Therefore, you want to protect those things from anything, especially fire. Fire is very beneficial to our lives. We use it to cook with and warm ourselves with, for instance. It can also be a very destructive force. The key to surviving a fire or minimizing damage due to fire is to always have a plan in place in case a fire does break out.
You should always have an exit strategy, a few in fact, so that you’re always prepared to get out of harm’s way. But you also want to know when a fire breaks out the moment it does. The earlier you know when you’re in danger, the better chance you have of getting out of the building safely.
That’s where a fire alarm monitoring service comes in. For your business, you should set up a commercial fire alarm monitoring system so that you can be notified when there is a fire, be notified where that fire is, and the proper authorities can be called immediately so that injuries and damage can be minimized as much as possible.
Who Monitors Your Business?
When you set up a fire alarm monitoring service, your system will be monitored from a remote location by employees who work for the fire alarm monitoring service. Your system will be monitored twenty four hours to make sure your business is fire free. If a fire does break out, the fire alarm monitoring service will let the employee know where the fire is located and the authorities will be called.
You, or another deemed representative of the company, will then be notified to let you know that there is a fire and to ask if everything is ok. The fire alarm monitoring service can also help people get out of the building. Having someone always keeping an eye on your business and investment is a great thing; especially when you consider that lives could be in danger otherwise.
Knowing Where the Fire is
One of the best things fire alarm monitoring gives you is the ability to know where the fire is inside your building. If you’re wondering why this is necessary, consider the following scenario. An employee of yours is in a back break room smoking a cigarette when a lit ash ignites a fire.
The employee leaves the break room unaware that they’ve just started a fire. That fire quickly spreads to the rest of the garbage and is inching towards the curtains. The fire alarm goes off but nobody knows where the fire is. What if that fire blocked an exit and nobody found out until it was too late?
What if people brushed it off as a false alarm because nobody knew where the fire was, enabling it to spread? The fact is, having a fire alarm monitoring service tell you exactly where the fire is at can save lives and can help in planning an escape route out of the building. There are many benefits to a fire alarm monitoring service and no business should be without it.
